-About The Artist-
Emmanuel was born and raised in the north side of Chicago. In a strong art community a few blocks from the art district. He Developed his inspiration at an early age. Attending a Fine Art Elementary school by the name of “Harriet Beecher Stowe” in the Humboldt Park Community, where Art and Amazing Murals cover the local schools, and Urban street art suffocates the bridges and local retail buildings.
Emmanuel completed his first mural at the age of 9 for the school he was attending, and another Mural a few years after for a Church in Logan Square. Throughout the many years Emmanuel continued to develop his skills with with influences from Modern Contemporary Art, and combing many styles from abstract, portraiture, and expressionism to the artwork you view today.
Today his art influences come from his late Grandmother, who passed away from breast cancer in 2016. Emmanuel continues to tell her story through his work. Although many of his art work is left for the viewers interpretation. His collection is heavily influenced by her pains, and the struggles she endured throughout her life.
